The IOGP Geomatics Committee has launched an industry survey to gather feedback on the use and effectiveness of the Common Industry Technical Specification for the Calibration and Verification of Ultra Short Baseline (USBL) Positioning Systems.

The IOGP Geomatics Committee gathered in Houston for a productive face-to-face meeting hosted by Oxy, bringing together industry leaders, technical experts and partner organisations from across the global geomatics community.

On 24 September 2026, the IOGP Geomatics Committee’s Geophysical Operations Subcommittee hosted its Members-Only workshop, “Site Surveys and Managing Geohazard Assessments of Wind Farms.”
