    映画チルドのスピンオフ小説で同じ世界観とされているようだが、実際には映画とはかなり趣が異なり 本当に同じ世界観なのかと疑問を感じるほどだった。

    映画は基本的にヒトコワで、ヤバい店長、ヤバいオーナー、ヤバい客を中心に話がすすんで最後はスプラッターのような展開になるわけだが、こちらはシュリンクパック人間やマネキン人間など 異様な人間が街に溢れるなか何事もないように平穏な日常を継続しようとする女性を主人公においた作品で、映画のスピンオフと知らなければ 怪異系のホラーと受け止めかねないところ。ラストで映画同様にスプラッターになるところは共通しているが、異常性の描き方に大きな違いがあるように思う。

    映画と同じ世界観だというのであれば、あくまでもヒトコワであり シュリンクパック人間やマネキン人間は なにかに囚われていたり、自分自身を生きていないなど ヤバい人 のメタファーなのかもしれないが、それが明示されるわけではないのでわかりにくい。ブンガク小説ではないのだから、もう少し伝わりやすように書くべきではないだろうか？
