1.11.2 Release Notes

Overview

Tsurugi 1.11.2 is a maintenance release for Tsurugi 1.11.1, focused primarily on bug fixes.

We strongly recommend all users of previous versions to upgrade to this release.

Bug Fixes

Bug Fixes - Transaction

• Fixed an issue where BLOB and CLOB data was lost after running the offline compaction tool tglogutil compaction
  • BLOB and CLOB data was lost because data files for BLOB and CLOB types located under the transaction log directory were incorrectly deleted after running the offline compaction tool tglogutil compaction.
  • For details about this issue, see the following:
    • limestone#136: fix(compaction): preserve blob directory and manifest on offline compaction
• Removed the --epoch and --working-dir options from the offline compaction tool tglogutil compaction
  • If these options were specified, the transaction log could become invalid after the tool was executed.
  • For details about this issue, see the following:

• Fixed the documentation for the offline compaction tool tglogutil compaction
  • Corrected inaccurate descriptions of the --make-backup option and added information where the documentation was incomplete.
