rationale とは、
「なぜその判断に至ったのか」を
筋道立てて説明する力のことです。
意見そのものは、誰でも述べられます。
しかし評価されるのは、
結論ではなく
そこに至る思考の道筋です。
データや事実があっても、
それだけでは不十分です。
「どの前提を置き、
何を重視し、
なぜその結論を選んだのか」
――この説明が求められます。
rationale は、
思考を可視化するための言葉です。
自分の判断を
他者が検証できる形にする。
