更にもし銃砲が戦に勝つものならば、何故ルイ・ナポレオンはそのミトライューズ式機關銃を以ってプロシヤ軍を撃破しなかったのだろうか。或いはスペイン人はそのモーゼル銃を以って、旧式のレミントン銃を以って武装したに過ぎないフィリッピン人を破ることができなったのであろうか。
