#18  Universal and natural as is the fighting instinct in man, fruitful as it has proved to be of noble sentiments and manly virtues, it does not comprehend the whole man.

私の訳：人の中にある戦の本能は普遍的かつ自然的であり、また高尚な感情や男らしい徳性を生む実りのあるものであるとは言え、それは人の全体を尽くすものではない。
