    Pray to God

The distance learning is finally over, and the face-to-face teaching will be gradually resumed from June. I have not had any students so far, so I have been cleaning the lab in a hurry because it was messy.

Well, recently, I heard from some people that "I want to be a university teacher in the future.". (Unfortunately, it wasn't because I saw this article.) I wanted to become a university teacher, so I somehow feel happy when I hear such voices. It's true that I've tried it for a year and two months, but I think this job is a good job. If you say, "Without any instructions from anyone, they are free to work, respected as teachers by society, and energized by their constant interaction with young people." you might be jealous.

It took me nearly 20 years to become a university teacher. I feel like giving up many times, and I have given up many times. But I kept lighting up the small fire in my heart, and I became what I am now. I'm writing this article because I want you to send the wind to those little lights and turn them into flames.

Actually, I'm planning to meet a student with a senior teacher today. The student said, "I'm sick and tired of everything and want to quit college.". A lot of things happened to him and he seemed to be desperate, but the senior teacher said, "I'm worried that you might think something strange." so I decided to go see him together. The student is in charge of the senior teacher, so it's enough to say that I have nothing to do with it, but I also had some advice from the student, so I decided to follow the senior teacher.

I understand in my head that it is simple to say "Don't quit college, come on!!" to the student and I should say so from a standpoint, but I wonder in my mind if it really is the word he needs now. After all, I feel helpless when I think that I can only respect his judgment after listening to him. I wanted to do what I could do, so I went to a nearby shrine, prayed that he would smile, and bought a lucky charm.

In the end, there's only so much I can do, but by continuing to write articles here, I want to keep a little breeze in the hearts of the students and those aspiring to become university teachers.

(The Eagles Desperado is playing on the radio now. I want students and everyone to listen to this song and aim to be the person they want to be. I will do my best too!!)
