Some of my fondest memories of graduate school are from field trips with Professor An Yin. His sense of wonder was infectious and his warmth palpable. He truly was the heart and soul of our department. Heartbroken.
We are devastated by the unexpected loss of Professor An Yin. Prof. Yin was the heart and soul of our department, a dedicated teacher who served his students with unfailing loyalty.
We are focused on supporting his family and students and will share more information soon.
