Many archive files come in the form of .zip .rar ect. You can unzip and extract these types of file on your android phone. Most default file explorers will be able to do this.

Step 1. Get a file explorer

You’ll need a file explore that has the ability to read and extract an archived file. Your default file explorer might already be able to do this. If not, here is a good option.

Step 2. Locate your file

Launch the file explorer and find where your file is located on your phone. If you have downloaded this on your phone, it is most likely in the /download folder.

Step 3. Extract your file

Use the archive extractor in your file explorer to decompress/extract your file. Choose the file path you want to extract to, and continue. That’s it!
