Lenovo-Tab-P11-Pro-2nd-Gen-1

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 review: A simple tablet that just works

The second-gen version of the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is a refresh of an already-popular tablet with a switch to MediaTek in tow.

Android tablets aren't exactly considered the best tablets around, and very few are worthy of being compared to the likes of the juggernaut that is the iPad. However, a couple of decent ones spring to mind, and one of those is the first Lenovo Tab P11 Pro. It was a tablet that you could actually try out the Android 12L beta on, and it packed some decent specifications at a good price. Now the company has come out with a second-generation Tab P11 Pro, which has some improvements over its predecessor.

HP Omen 16 (2022) review: Great for gaming, but not much else

HP's latest gaming laptop packs a lot of power and a capable cooling system for all your gaming needs, as long as you stay plugged in.

HP's Omen brand makes some great gaming laptops, and the latest Omen 16 is another great addition to the lineup. This model packs 12th-generation Intel Core processors and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, which can handle just about any game, even on this very sharp Quad HD display. The cooling system also helps with that, and it can move a lot of air around, though it can get a bit loud when it goes full throttle.

Honor Magic Vs hands-on: Finally, some competition for Samsung foldables

Samsung has a monopoly on the large foldable space right now, but Honor can change that.

4
By

Honor has a new foldable phone called the Magic Vs, and unlike its previous one or existing foldables from Chinese brands such as Xiaomi or Oppo, it'll launch "globally" in Q1 2023. Honor has not announced specific markets, but the list will very likely include countries like the U.K, Germany, Spain, Singapore, and Malaysia (and almost certainly, not the U.S.). Even if market availability isn't as wide as the word "globally" usually implies, this is still a noteworthy launch because the Honor Magic Vs will finally give Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4 some competition on a global scale.

Front view of the One Xplayer Mini Pro

One Xplayer Mini Pro review: A powerful, but expensive Steam Deck competitor

With an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and RDNA2 graphics, the One Xplayer Mini Pro can run a lot of games very well, but it may be hard to justify.

4
By

The original One Xplayer Mini that I reviewed earlier this year was a great handheld PC focused on gaming, but this Pro model ups the ante in a few ways. Most notably, it now has an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U, which is a major upgrade thanks to the inclusion of RDNA2-based integrated graphics. This is the same graphics technology inside the Steam Deck, which it makes this a very compelling device.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 review: Even more power in an iconic ThinkPad design

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 delivers a ton of performance in a business-style package, though the design isn't for everyone.

4
By

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme is a very interesting laptop. It comes in that iconic ThinkPad design that's loved by long-time fans of the brand (not me, though), yet it packs a ton of power that makes more sense for a gaming rig than a business laptop. Of course, the idea is that this is a laptop for creative professionals, though I'm left wondering if the people working in design and other creative areas wouldn't also want something that looks and feels a bit more modern than the ThinkPad chassis.

OnePlus Nord N300 5G review: A basic phone you can get for free

The Nord N300 5G is an entry-level phone that does what it's supposed to do — just don't expect anything more

When OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei launched the Nord series two years ago, he said he wanted to strip away superfluous smartphone features and "get back to basics."

iPhone 14 Pro Max display review: The pinnacle of OLED

Cutting-edge hardware meets display engineering prowess and color science in the single most impressive screen I've seen on any phone.

There's a common saying in the tech bubble that is often met with polarizing feelings: "Apple isn't usually the first to adopt any particular type of technology, but when it does, Apple usually does it right."

Microsoft Adaptive Accessories review: Making your PC much easier to use

Microsoft Adaptive Accessories don't just make PCs more accessible. They also enable enhanced productivity.

Microsoft's mission statement is to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. Yet, some can't experience certain technologies because they aren't inclusive for those with disabilities. It's why Microsoft recently released the Surface Adaptive Kit and also sells the Xbox Adaptive Controller for Surface and Xbox users. Now, we have new entries designed for use with any PC or laptop: Microsoft Adaptive Accessories.

Razer Blade 15 11

Razer Blade 15 (2022) review: Gaming never looked as good as it does on this 240Hz OLED

If you want your games to look great without sacrificing refresh rate, look no further than the Razer Blade 15 OLED.

4
By

In the old days of gaming laptops, OEMs would sacrifice everything they could in the interest of a higher refresh rate. That meant you got washed-out colors and low resolutions just for a few extra frames. With the Razer Blade 15 OLED, you don't have to choose anymore.

Acer TravelMate Spin P4 review: A great 2-in-1 for business ruined by a bad display

The TravelMate Spin P4 has a lot of great features, but it's seriously weak in one important area.

The best Windows convertible laptops aren't just for regular consumers. Businesses looking to treat their employees or executives with a new system often end up buying them, too. Usually, it's the Lenovo ThinkPads that come to mind for most IT admins who do the shopping, but Acer has the TravelMate line that's just as good as anything in Acer's laptop lineup.

Shargeek Storm 2 review: That's one badass battery pack

Normally, I wouldn't go around singing praises of a power bank, but look at this thing!

4
By

OK, I'll admit it; the only reason I decided to get my hands on the Shargeek Storm 2 battery pack was that I thought it looked ridiculously cool. I didn't even dig into the specifications, and I certainly wasn't expecting to use it all that much outside of occasional travel. Well, I was wrong.

Framework Laptop Chromebook Edition review: The modular Chromebook dream comes to life

The ability to upgrade or tinker with a Chromebook felt like a pipe dream, but it's now a reality thanks to the Framework Laptop Chromebook Edition.

4
By

Some of the best Chromebooks and Windows laptops are powerful but not exactly the most repairable. You might be able to swap out RAM or storage, but parts like the battery and ports are often glued or soldered to the motherboard or chassis. Even the motherboard itself might not be upgradeable. This means if something seriously goes wrong with your Chromebook or you want to upgrade it yourself, it might end up as electronic waste or in the recycling bin.

TCL NXTWEAR S hands-on: The 130-inch screen you can take anywhere

TCL has made eyewear that can broadcast immersive visuals right in front of your face, but is it worth the cost?

4
By

Although TCL makes a wide variety of products, including smartphones, these days, the company is still best known for its TVs, and TCL's newest product is essentially a wearable TV that offers a portable screen. Named the NXTWEAR S, this set of eyewear is an iterative update to the NXTWEAR Air that was shown off at CES earlier this year.

LG gram 17 (2022) review: A bafflingly light laptop with great performance

This year's LG gram 17 packs fast Intel processors and a fantastic display into a super light chassis.

4
By

I got my first experience with the LG gram lineup back in 2020, and I quickly learned why they're some of the best laptops on the market. This year's LG gram 17 is no different. LG has upgraded to 12th-generation Intel Core P-series processors, delivering even more performance than before, alongside other upgrades like a 1080p webcam, which is absolutely welcome in 2022, and on top of already great specs like a Quad HD+ display.

Asus has been making some pretty incredible video game-centric phones, especially for mobile gaming. From the Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate that launched with the Dimensity 9000+ to the Asus ROG Phone 6 with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, both are stellar options for a mobile gamer.

ThinkPad X1 logo with retro RGB design

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 30th Anniversary Edition review: For when you need Lenovo nostalgia

There were only 5,000 Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 30th Anniversary Edition made, and we got our hands on one.

4
By

Five years ago, I reviewed the ThinkPad 25, a 25th-anniversary laptop that was based on the design of the ThinkPad T470. It featured a chassis that was based on the ThinkPad T470 with a new keyboard, but few other changes. This year's anniversary model — the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 30th Anniversary Edition (it's a mouthful to say) — is actually based on the flagship ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and the changes are somehow even more subtle.

Lenovo-ThinkVision-M14-D-(2)-1

Lenovo ThinkVision M14d review: Is this great portable monitor worth $500?

The ThinkVision M14d is a sleek, extra portable monitor that can improve your workflow, but is it worth the price?

4
By

There are many ways you can boost your productivity when using a laptop or desktop. The easiest way to do this is to buy an external monitor so you can open multiple windows on two different screens. The problem, though, is that you might still want an extra monitor, even when you're on the go. You might also not have the room on your desk for a full monitor.

Google Pixel 7 Pro display review: The Android state of color

It's known for its software smarts, can Google's hardware let its screens stand up against the competition?

4
By

Beyond reading the blurbs of "higher peak brightness!" every year, people often wonder if there are any other tangible improvements in yearly display upgrades. Besides, if other outlets are reporting color reproductive claims that are "indistinguishable from perfect," what more can they really improve upon?
