Gradients in Figma

Last Updated : 8 Oct, 2026

Gradients in Figma are smooth transitions between two or more colors or tints of the same color. They can be applied to fills and strokes to create different visual effects in a design.

Types of Gradients in Figma

There are four types of gradients in Figma:

  • Linear Gradient: Creates a smooth color transition along a straight line.
  • Angular Gradient: Creates a color transition around a central point in a circular direction.
  • Diamond Gradient: Creates a color transition outward in a diamond-shaped pattern.
  • Radial Gradient: Creates a color transition outward from a central point in a circular pattern.
