If you like to easily create uber-characters and enjoy killing clueless noobs, Dofus probably isn't the game for you. But, if you want something that's a little offbeat, with a heavy reliance on community and group goals, you can do a lot worse than spending $7 to see if you like it.

I must admit that I was a bit full of trepidation when trying out Dofus for the first time, having liked Wakfu so much and being worried that its predecessor would turn out to be more basic or unpolished. I'm surprised and happy to report the exact opposite, and that I like Dofus' fun approach to traditional MMORPG gameplay even more than Wakfu's open-ended sandbox and social features, which is saying a lot.

Despite its eccentricities, Dofus remains a solid and occasionally brilliant proposition for those looking for something different in an MMO.

This may not capture the fancy of hard-core gamers who like to battle mobs in real time, but relaxing into the pacing of the game provides a lightly entertaining experience.

The comic-style and ironic atmosphere are nice, but there are other games of the same genre who are much more convincing.

Ce jeu a visiblement une place importante dans votre cœur. Il évoque sans doute de nombreux souvenirs précieux. On comprend l'attachement profond que vous lui portez. C'est touchant de voir une telle passion. Il est certain que ce jeu continuera à vous accompagner longtemps.

A game that used to be great but now only relies on its art. An Alpha/Beta-test that is running on live servers at the cost of the customers. More than 700+ bugs. All around victim of bad game-design. Ankama Production treats their customers as nothing but moneybags and never really tries to communicate nor aknowledge issues. A full month since release, less than 10 bugfixes. Don't play this game unless you want to lose time and money.

I've played Dofus for a long time, like almost 20 years of my life. I've always loved the lore, the gameplay, the DA. But now, they tried to push Dofus 3.0 for December 2024, and since everythingI loved about the game fill me with rage. The game isn't really op, so much bugs everywhere (not all of them are important, but most of them are bugs that could have been fixed before the launch because they happen everytime I feel like i'm playing at a easy access, but the game is full and in production, so i feel like Ankama is using its fame to profit and not do to much.

Please do not waste your time on this garbage, filled with bots and real money traders, there is 0 in game moderation and you are expected to talk in fluid french every time you party up with randoms, this game could be fun with friends you could ignore the bots and have fun, but its absolutely miserable solo, also the population is dead there is no new players joining only old players coming back and the addicts (check the games twitter comments if you dont believe me every time there is a maintenance people lose their **** xd )
