Nothing is cited. This entire article reads like an advertisement/resume for Dustiin Johnson. This is NOT a significant subject. If it is, all of these claims should be cited. It seems likely to me that Dustin Johnson wrote this all himself. âPreceding unsigned comment added by 69.7.41.101 (talk âą contribs) 11 June 2009
I agree. I have proposed this page be deleted. Both for spam and then for the fact that it is not a notable company by any means. âPreceding unsigned comment added by 72.164.148.19 (talk) 07:29, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
I agree with the above. There are no references and it is merely an advertisement for the company that was obviously written by the company. âPreceding unsigned comment added by 69.7.41.101 (talk) 15:20, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Hello. I'm Derek Johnson, the founder and former CEO of Tatango, so I have a conflict of interest and am not editing the article myself. The article currently ends in 2022. I'd like to suggest a short, sourced update about what happened to the company in 2026, using only independent coverage. Please change or decline anything that doesn't meet policy.
1. Add to the end of the "History" section:
- In March 2026, Tatango was combined with Givergy, a fundraising event and auction technology company, to form a new company named momoGood, based in Plano, Texas. The deal was backed by a growth investment from Edison Partners and Vocap Partners, with Edison Partners acquiring a majority position; financial terms were not disclosed.[1][2] Matt Combs, founder of YourCause, became chief executive of momoGood, and Tatango's chief executive Kevin Fitzgerald left the company.[1]
2. First sentence of the lead. Change:
- "Tatango is a U.S. based company offering text message marketing (SMS/MMS) services."
to:
- "Tatango is a U.S. based text message marketing (SMS/MMS) and fundraising company. Since 2026 it has been part of momoGood."[1]
3. Infobox.
key_people: currently "CEO Derek Johnson, Alex Mittelstaedt (Director of Sales)", which is out of date. Suggest replacing withfounder = Derek Johnson[3] and removing the old key_people line (or leaving it blank).- Add
parent = momoGood(2026 to present).[1][2]
Sources. Both 2026 sources are independent news outlets reporting the deal. The underlying press release is on Business Wire (11 March 2026) if editors want to check details, but I've cited only independent coverage above.
