Wordscapes Mods for Unlimited Money
[edit]Many players of the popular mobile word puzzle game Wordscapes have reported the availability of mods online that provide unlimited in-game money. These modified versions of the game, often referred to as "mods," allow users to bypass the standard in-game currency system, providing them with an unlimited amount of coins. Players use these coins to purchase hints and other features that can help them solve puzzles faster and progress through the game more easily. However, it's important to note that downloading and using these mods is considered a violation of Wordscapes' terms of service and may lead to account suspension or other penalties. â Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.24.147.7 (talk) 14:42, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
Up to 9 letters
[edit]It says 3-7 letters, but I have seen puzzles with 8 and 9 letters. Might only be daily ones, I am not certain, so I didn't want to make an edit.
Example "CHAMPAGNE" on 31 December, and "CELEBRATE" on 30 December. (I took screenshots.) 24.224.147.117 (talk) 16:11, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- You're right, boards longer than seven letters exist in the Daily Puzzle. Since the source I have is my own site, I've posted an edit request below instead of editing the article. PopKornmm (talk) 15:49, 4 November 2026 (UTC)
Possible Sources to expand the wordscapes article
[edit]Hi,
Honestly, the Wordscapes page feels a little thin compared to how much the game has grown over the years.
I'v been around the wordscapes community for quite a while and I currently manage the Wordscapes fandom wiki https://wordscapes.fandom.com/wiki/Wordscapes_Wiki and have worked on improveing many thing there. I also run solvingwordscapes.com where I've spent a lot of time aanalysing into the game features ( leaderboards, wildlife collection and puzzles studies ). I know it's probably not a great idea for me to just start addining links to my own site here because of wikipedia policies, so I thought I'd ask first.
For exemple, I analyser the full 366 daily puzzles cycle hre : https://www.solvingwordscapes.com/wordscapes-daily-puzzles-study/ . I have a few larger studies like for the hard levels and refused words : https://www.solvingwordscapes.com/wordscapes-hard-levels-study/ https://www.solvingwordscapes.com/not-accepted-words/ etc.
The are few others too.
Would it be okay for me to improve the article using some of these findings ?
Thanks ~2026-55441-41 (talk) 12:09, 16 October 2026 (UTC)
- Following up on this: rather than editing the article myself, I've opened a formal edit request below so an uninvolved editor can decide. PopKornmm (talk) 15:49, 4 November 2026 (UTC)

Disclosure: I run Solving Wordscapes, an independent fan site about the game, and I'm an administrator of the Wordscapes Fandom wiki. I'm not affiliated with PeopleFun. I also wrote the "Possible Sources to expand the wordscapes article" thread above, from a temporary account at the time. The sources below are my own, so I'm not adding them myself. The two requests are independent: either can be accepted without the other.
Request 1 (answers the question raised in #Up to 9 letters)
The article says the largest puzzles use seven letters. That is what PeopleFun's Help Center says about the numbered levels, but it is not true of the Daily Puzzle. In the Daily Puzzle section, after the sentence ending "and pictures unlocked during the previous month are lost.", please add:
According to a 2026 analysis by the fan site Solving Wordscapes, the Daily Puzzle follows a fixed calendar of 366 boards, one for each date including February 29, so a given date brings back the same board every year. Four of those boards, between June 19 and June 24, use eight or nine letters.<ref name="sw-daily">{{cite web |author=Pop |title=Inside the Wordscapes Daily Puzzles: The Secret Calendar |url=https://www.solvingwordscapes.com/wordscapes-daily-puzzles-study/ |website=Solving Wordscapes |date=August 11, 2026 |access-date=November 4, 2026}}</ref>
Request 2
At the end of the Reception section, after the Community subsection, please add:
=== Player analysis ===
In 2026 the fan site Solving Wordscapes published analyses of the game's level data. A study of the difficulty flag stored with each board, across the 6,000 regular levels and both versions of the 6,000 Master Levels, found 81.2% of the 18,000 boards marked easy, 11.6% hard and 7.2% super hard, with super hard boards most frequent between levels 501 and 1,000.<ref name="sw-hard">{{cite web |author=Pop |title=What Actually Makes a Wordscapes Level Super Hard? I Checked All 18,000 Boards |url=https://www.solvingwordscapes.com/wordscapes-hard-levels-study/ |website=Solving Wordscapes |date=August 2, 2026 |access-date=November 4, 2026}}</ref> A second study compared the words accepted on the regular levels with ENABLE, a public-domain word list. Of the 15,612 valid words that the letters of those levels allow, 4,653 are never accepted anywhere in the game, which the study took as evidence that Wordscapes uses its own curated list of about 11,000 words rather than a standard dictionary.<ref name="sw-words">{{cite web |author=Pop |title=Wordscapes Refuses these words |url=https://www.solvingwordscapes.com/not-accepted-words/ |website=Solving Wordscapes |date=September 1, 2026 |access-date=November 4, 2026}}</ref>
Why
As far as I know, no independent outlet has covered these points. Each study explains its method, and the per-level figures behind them are published as an open dataset (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23737776). I know WP:SPS applies, so I'd rather an uninvolved editor decide whether in-text attribution is enough here, or whether only the first request should go in. Either answer is fine with me.
