LGTM reading the docs, but I am not a Renovate expert.
Dependabot does the right thing out of the box with no special configuration.

Perhaps in the near future we should reconsider if rennovate is bringing us much benefit compared to dependabot. But for now lets go with this. Thanks for reviewing (and opening the original PR. |

Adds the two digest helpers from the issue to the existing
renovate.jsonso Renovate bumps each action's SHA and its# vX.Y.Zcomment together (workflows were already pinned in this format by #13411, so no migration needed). The Renovate app is already installed on the repo.Docs:
