Usage:

/extend-commands-api extend the commands API in jedis based on the HLD "[8.10] XREAD - XREADGROUP MAXCOUNT and MAXSIZE - Client High Level Design Document.md" use custom-29557896054-debian image tag

Note

Low Risk
Documentation-only agent workflow; no runtime, API, or test code changes in the Jedis library.

Overview
Adds a new agent skill (extend-commands-api) that walks contributors (or coding agents) through adding or extending Redis commands in Jedis end-to-end.

The skill defines Phase 0 evidence gathering (HLD, redis/redis server PR, Docker/redis-cli verification, showcase scenarios) and Phase 1 plan-then-approve workflow, plus decision trees for params-only extensions vs full command matrix vs module commands. It encodes maintainer conventions: binary parity, params/BuilderFactory patterns, javadoc/@since/@Experimental, and the full unit + mocked + *IT integration test matrix with version gating.

A .claude/skills/extend-commands-api symlink points at .agents/skills/extend-commands-api so Claude can invoke the same skill via /extend-commands-api.
