🌈 For your health
Hello everyone!
This time, I used a “Yakiniku Braising Spice Pack” to make 🇨🇳 Hong Shao Rou–Style 🍖 Chāshū❗️
And the best part?
I made it using my rice cooker‼️

“Rice Cooker Cooking”
means using a rice cooker to cook dishes other than rice by simply adding the ingredients and seasonings, then pressing the start button.
・A hands-off cooking method
・The flavors soak deep into the ingredients
・You can make a wide variety of dishes, including rice dishes, braised dishes, soups, cakes, and more!

【Hong Shao Rou (红烧肉)】
Hong Shao Rou is one of China’s classic home-style dishes 🇨🇳.
It is traditionally made with pork belly, slowly braised with soy sauce, sugar, and aromatic spices until the meat develops a beautiful reddish-brown color and glossy finish. 🐽
The name comes from “Hong Shao,” a traditional Chinese braising technique in which the ingredients are slowly cooked until they become richly colored and flavorful, and “Rou,” meaning meat.

✨ My Thoughts ✨
Just adding the “Yakiniku Braising Spice Pack” gave this dish such an authentic flavor❗️
The rich, aromatic fragrance filled the kitchen while it was cooking in the rice cooker.
It was absolutely delicious‼️
Just pop one of these spice packs into your usual dishes, and you might be able to transform them into something with an international twist⁉️
Just to be clear, though…
The traditional version of Hong Shao Rou is normally made with pork belly. 🐽
